Bringing NPLAY into the game

Worten wanted to increase awareness of NPLAY around a gaming tournament in Tenerife, while directing visitors to its nearby Santa Cruz store.

With only the selected products, brand logos and location information provided, the brief was intentionally open: create an outdoor that immediately felt connected to gaming while giving both the products and the two brands a clear presence.

Built for scale

Starting from a blank canvas, I developed the visual direction around a sequence of oversized products framed by red and blue neon structures. The system created a consistent language across very different products while establishing a visual flow from the main message through to the NPLAY brand.

One of the main challenges was balancing NPLAY and Worten without allowing either brand to compete with the products. Scale, hierarchy and the left-to-right composition were used to keep the message readable across the billboard’s unusual 16 × 3 m format.

In the wild

The first proposal was approved without changes and moved directly into final artwork. The finished outdoor was installed in Tenerife, where the client later shared footage of the piece in place.
