Aria
In motion
About the experiment
Aria Loopstill is a synthetic character created as an experiment in AI-driven art direction. The goal was simple: design one fictional person and explore how consistently she could exist across different images, environments and moving sequences.
Her name came from an early idea of a character caught in an endless loop. As the project evolved, that narrative became less important and Aria developed into a broader exploration of identity, visual consistency and synthetic image-making.

Creative process
Aria started with a set of visual traits developed through Midjourney. From those first references, I built a consistent character across different image and video models, directing everything from appearance and styling to locations, framing and mood.
Maintaining the same identity was the main challenge, particularly across motion and at a time when generative models were far less reliable at character consistency. The process involved continuous generation, selection, correction and post-production rather than relying on a single prompt or model.
